    This position is a long-term Temporary assignment with an anticipated ending date of December, 2020

     

    The Campaign Organizer-Los Angeles is a temporary role that contributes to AHF's campaign (2019-2020) and carrying AHF's Affordable Housing Advocacy message to communities in the Los Angeles county.  It will support AHF's mission by carrying AHF Housing Is A Human Right and Rental Affordability Act messages to community organizations, faith-based institutions, local government and community clubs.

     

    This position will help build a coalition, facilitate endorsements, grow partner relationships, increase turnout at large campaign events and spearhead small to medium events in the Los Angeles community in support of the Rental Affordability Act.  These events will include, but are not limited to workshops, forums and direct actions in support of the Campaign.

     

    In addition, this position will include responsibilities for community outreach as well as outreach to elected officials at the city, county and state level.  This includes local officialsl who hold federal office.
