An IT Project Manager contributes to AHF's mission by constantly looking at ways to optimize the overall process of implementing technology applications and solutions within scope, on time and on budget while increasing the team’s effectiveness, decreasing project turnaround and issue resolution time, with an end goal to provide the utmost quality and care to our clients. This position is unique in that it is the supporting arm of the organization’s technical superhighway, and is involved in most aspects of the organization’s technical operations.
The IT Project Manager will help with coordinating efforts in all stages of system development lifecycle such as project initiation, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, implementation and post go-live support to ensure that the specific goals of the projects or tasks have been achieved in a timely manner with attention to quality. The person in this role will create and maintain project artifacts like charter, kick off decks, project plan and issues/risks doc, lessons learned and any other project artifacts on IT Share Point, as needed. This individual will work with other team members to enhance their knowledge and stay up-to-date on product enhancements and changes.
Through continuous monitoring and development, the IT PM can provide great customer service to internal customers by working with outside vendors and internal teams to bring the best, most proven solutions and services to the organization, ensuring its success. By providing insight and passing on knowledge to their peers, this candidate will ensure the success of not just their own role but the other roles of the organization’s technology department.
