The AHF Security Team Lead contributes to AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) and the Healthy Housing Foundation (HHF) by being responsible for protecting the company’s assets and ensuring the safety of its staff, tenants, contractors, guests and visitors. In this role, you will leverage your training in security and you will lead the team to protect the personnel and assets at our office and residential facilities located in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. You will have full responsibility for implementing policies and procedures designed to achieve this important mission while you are coordinating the in-house Security Guard Team.
This role will enhance the experience of our employees, tenants and guests by being friendly, professional and disciplined in the performance of your duties. You will lead a security team of not less than 9 people. Through your leadership you will improve the performance of your team by using good training and coaching, providing the team purpose, direction and motivation through your personal example. The Security Team Lead will be expert in the security policies and procedures of the AHF and HHF. You will employ good de-escalation techniques to prevent or reduce the chance of potentially dangerous situations, coaching others on the tactics and techniques to improve their ability in this critical area. Additionally, the Security Team Lead will establish and maintain working relationships with the HHF operational staff to ensure a safe and secure environment. Finally, you will provide well written reports using the Safety and Security Incident Reporting System regarding events and situation that occur while on duty and supervise the reporting by the security guards.
The Security Team Lead adds consistent value to the AHF/HHF by adapting to various situations with ease and by being flexible.
