A Maintenance Technician contributes to AHF by Performing work involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupationsto keep mechanical equipment or structure of a building in repair. Duties may involve HVAC maintenance, insulating, carpentry, repairing electrical or mechanical equipment , cut new or duplicate keys, using key cutting machines, cut new or duplicate keys, using impressions or code key machines, install door hardware such as locks or closers.
There is special emphasis on candidates with "Locksmith experience".
A Maintenance Technician enhances the reputation of AHF by being friendly, professional and disciplined in the performance of their duties, reconizing that maintenance and access control are critical in ensuring safety for residents as well as AHF employees.
