A Pharmacy Porter contributes to AHF by helping to maintain the entire CRC and other related pharmacy suites in an attractive, comfortable condition. You will assist in trash pickup and disposal on all related areas of the CRC and pharmacy suites. You will assist in all types of cleaning, and when necessary, as needed with scheduled maintenance. You will assist in the cleaning of cleaning and the “make-ready” of workstations when turn over or expansion occurs, as well as when requested. You will work closely with inventory technicians to assist in the restocking of supplies. You will assist with unpacking, organizing, and distribution of supplies from orders up to the size of pallets. You will maintain good working relationships with property managers, vendors, and AHF staff. You will assist with cleaning of interior windows, floors, light fixtures, outlet covers, kitchen areas, breakrooms, and refrigerators of pharmacy related areas.

A Pharmacy Porter enhances the reputation of AHF by maintaining privacy and confidentiality as required by HIPAA, AHF, and departmental policy guidelines. In addition, you will consistently meet productivity, scheduled adherence and quality standards, while maintaining a good attendance record.

AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders.

The Pharmacy Porter will work as a part of a close-knit team to the CRC (Central Refill Center). The CRC is a high volume pharmacy that consists of many pharmacists and technicians who will rely on a great working relationship with the Pharmacy Porter in order to meet deadlines and productivity goals.

Licenses and Certifications: High school diploma or GED is desirable. Experience as a “handy man” or other equivalent skills are highly desirable. Should have typing skills and familiarity with Windows PC applications including word processing, excel, email, and texting applications.
