Job Description:

 

Utilize data modeling and optimizing methods to develop and interpret healthcare information in order to assist AHF management with decision making, policy formulation, and other managerial functions for our healthcare operations. Design, implement, and test inbound and outbound data processes related to all aspects of AIDS Healthcare Foundation’s Managed Care healthcare programs for patients living with HIV and/or AIDS. Work directly with AHF’s Associate Director of Data and Information Architecture to create data solutions for internal clients, as well as interface with staff in order to meet mutual contractual requirements. Provide ongoing insightful reports and analyses that will support information-based decision making and strategy execution measures. Identify opportunities for improving existing processes at AHF using data modelling methods. Maintain data interfaces, uploads, transmissions, reports, and analytics for AHF’s medical records, Pharmacy Benefit Data, and claims data from Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) X12 data sources. Develop solutions with proprietary claim adjudication systems such as HEALTHsuite. Extract and analyze data sets to develop findings and recommendations for strategy and execution measures. Ensure security and integrity while following HIPAA guidelines during data transmissions. Analyze information obtained from data extractions to conceptualize and define operational problems using database software such as MSSQ SQL, T-SQL, RDBMS, and PowerBI.



Requirements:

 

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Business Intelligence, Economics, Statistics, or a related field plus two (2) years of Business intelligence analysis, data analysis, or related experience: pulling and cleaning large data sets from internal and external sources; fitting, tuning, and validating a wide array of statistical models; integrating predictive models into analytical tools; devising new modeling techniques and devising new metrics; developing, evaluating, and delivering new models as part of the product development lifecycle; analyzing statistical and financial data in large and complex datasets; applying state of the art machine learning algorithms and statistical models; developing scalable solutions and tools; and utilizing R, Python, SQL, and SAS. Telecommuting permissible one (1) day a week.

 

 

 

Work Schedule:

40 hours per week
