The temporary Senior Paralegal will contribute to specific AHF legal department projects. The individual needs to be immediately adept at electronic discovery management, search logic construction, document reviews, and managing witness interviews, discovery responses and disclosures. The foregoing tasks may involve performing factual research and minimal legal research. The Senior Paralegal will bring some coding knowledge and experience to these matters, with the ability to understand and identify potential issues with communications between coders, narratives, notes, and work documents of medical coders, and handle document review and discovery tasks that allow the attorneys to focus on the substantive legal work. The Senior Paralegal adds consistent value to the legal team by being a team player, being timely and organized, being a good communicator, being flexible, taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities, and adapting to various situations with ease. The Senior Paralegal also contributes significantly by being adept at technology, such back office products (Word®, Excel®), electronic discovery platforms (Relativity®, Everlaw®, or similar), and coding and billing tools.
We at AIDS Healthcare Foundation believe that each individual is entitled to equal employment opportunities without regard to race, color, creed, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, national origin, age, veteran status or disability. The right of equal employment opportunity extends to recruiting, hiring selection, transfer, promotion, training and all other conditions of employment. AHF will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the ordinance.
