This position requires planning, coordinating and monitoring all programmatic, contractual and fiscal activities for the Residential Services department for efficient, effective operations and compliance with established licensing and standards of care requirements.  

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops, implements, assesses, monitors and revises service programs in order to meet stakeholder needs, including client, funding and licensing entities.
  • Formulates, reviews and revises policies and procedures to ensure best practice 
  • Coordinates and maintains compliance to accreditation standards, documentation and records as required by regulatory agencies.
  • Fiscal monitoring and analysis of programmatic and department budgets with attention to overall agency financials. Maximizing utilization of available funding.
  • Provides oversite for facility standards including Department of Health Standard, HQS and OSHA.
  • Track, report and analyze statistical data regarding program performance
  • Develops, implements and monitors strategies to maximize productivity, outcome standards, service delivery and revenues
  • Prepares reports in accordance with regulatory agency standards including outcome measures developed by funders and internal standards
  • Address client grievances and agency incident with written responses including licensing and funding documentation, as appropriate
  • Maintains appropriate staffing patterns with qualified personnel through hiring, supervision and training.
  • Monitors and supports clinical competencies through accepted discipline supervision standards.
  • Ongoing evaluation of employee performance and training needs
  • Develop and maintain linkages with collaborating community agencies, businesses and landlords
  • Engages, counsels, manages, motivates and effectively works with high-risk, vulnerable client population, including chemically dependent persons
  • Participates in committees, task forces and meetings as assigned.

  • Flexibility and ability to cope with several tasks simultaneously
  • Must be physically and mentally fit to respond to emergency situations.

POSTIONS SUPERVISED

Department staff including Nursing, Kitchen, Social worker, Resident Support Staff and administrative staff and other health disciplines as required.

 

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Master’s degree Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or Marriage and Family Counseling with a Florida State License as LCSW, LMHC or LMFT OR Registered Nurse
  • Five years’ experience in Human Service services, Residential and/or Substance Abuse Treatment experience preferred   
  • Two years of supervisory and program management experience

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION

  • Florida State License as LCSW, LMHC or LMFT or RN

  • Valid Florida Drivers License and ongoing proof of insurance

  • AHCA Level II background screening

  • HIV 500

  • Florida ALF Core Training and Administrator

  • HOWPA / HUDE Certifications
