YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO OUR SUCCESS!

A Lead Navigator contributes to AHF by providing compassionate, culturally responsive care to LGBTQ+ individuals impacted by substance use. They lead harm reduction efforts through the distribution of life-saving materials, facilitate behavioral health presentations to reduce stigma and increase community knowledge, and ensure seamless navigation to affirming sexual health and mental health services. By centering dignity, empowerment, and health equity in every interaction, they strengthen AHF’s commitment to improving health outcomes for communities disproportionately affected by HIV and substance use.

A Lead Navigator enhances the reputation of AHF by serving as a trusted advocate and educator within LGBTQ+ and substance-using communities. Through their commitment to nonjudgmental harm reduction, culturally competent behavioral health presentations, and seamless linkage to sexual health services, they build meaningful relationships rooted in respect and dignity. Their consistent presence and expertise position AHF as a leader in equitable, person-centered care, reinforcing the organization’s image as a compassionate and responsive provider dedicated to addressing the diverse needs of the communities it serves.
