The AOC has been saving and transforming lives since its inception in 1986. The agency is the Southeast’s oldest, largest, and most comprehensive AIDS Service Organization.
Today, AIDS Outreach Center (AOC) began as a grassroots organization responding to the HIV epidemic. Since that time, AOC has been a leader in North Texas in the fight against HIV. Annually, 42 staff members provide services and education to over 2,000 people living with HIV and prevention services to over 3,500 people in our community.

The Community Liaison contributes to AHF by serving as a vital connector between the agency, clients, and the broader community. This role supports client health, wellness, and quality of life through the Food Pantry, Seasoned Survivors, and HIV Prevention Programs by coordinating activities, providing health education, and ensuring access to essential resources and services.
The Community Liaison enhances the reputation of AHF by building and maintaining strong relationships with community organizations and vendors, fostering meaningful partnerships, and providing compassionate, culturally sensitive support that promotes dignity and wellness for all clients.

AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders.
The Community Liaison will work as a part of a close-knit team to support daily Food Pantry operations, plan and implement Seasoned Survivors activities, participate in HIV prevention outreach, link clients to community resources, and enhance program outcomes through data collection, all while fostering an environment of respect, inclusion, and support.
