The temp IT technician is responsible for assisting in the cleanup and optimization of Active Directory (AD) users and user groups. The technician will be responsible for identifying, auditing, and removing outdated or inactive accounts, consolidating groups, and ensuring AD is aligned with current organizational policies and security standards. The technician will remove or disable unnecessary user and group accounts in accordance with security and compliance requirements. Document changes and provide reporting on cleanup progress. And ensure all modifications follow company policies and best practices for data integrity and security. The technician will communicate regularly with stakeholders regarding status, risks, and mitigation plans. |
