The Manager of Credentialing projects and integrates the mission and core values of the organization into the credentialing processes and provider relations activities of the Credentialing Department. The Manager is responsible to manage the organization’s credentialing processes in compliance with professional standards, Medicare and Medicaid regulations, and state and federal regulatory requirements. The Manager oversees the day-to-day operation of the Credentialing Department including oversight, training and development of Credentialing staff and reporting department productivity to leadership. Based in the Managed Care Division, AIDS Healthcare Foundation’s (AHF) Credentialing Department credentials contracted providers and audits contracted delegated entities for AHF Medicare and Medi-Cal plans in California, Florida and Georgia. It also credentials providers who work in AHF Healthcare Centers across the country. |
The Manager demonstrate his or her success in this role by overseeing a compliant and efficient credentialing process and proactively taking action to correct problems that could adversely affect compliance, quantifying and monitoring department performance, and building and fostering positive relationships with AHF and managed care plan network providers.
