A Manager of Prevention Services contributes to AHF by providing strategic and operational leadership across CALOR’s prevention services, including HIV and STI testing, substance use programming, LGBTQ+ outreach, and linkage to care for PrEP and HIV treatment. Working closely with the Director of Operations, the Program Manager ensures that prevention staff are well-supported, services are delivered with consistency and cultural responsiveness, and program goals are met. This role plays a vital part in aligning day-to-day operations with AHF’s broader mission, advancing health equity, and ensuring that communities most impacted by HIV receive timely, affirming, and effective care.

The Manager of Prevention Services will work as a part of a close knit team to ensure that prevention programming is executed efficiently, consistently, and with shared vision. Collaborating closely with the Director of Operations, program staff, and frontline team members, they will help coordinate daily activities, troubleshoot service delivery challenges, and support staff development. By promoting open communication, accountability, and a supportive work culture, the Program Manager strengthens the team’s ability to deliver high-impact services rooted in dignity, trust, and care.
