The Retention Specialist for Jackson contributes to AHF's mission by presenting a friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable attitude to customers and people seeking testing. Your duties include conducting street based marketing and having an amazing connection with social media, providing HIV testing and counseling, retention efforts and retaining clients in care. In addition, identify and scout locations for future partners and referrals.
When approaching customers and patients, Retention Specialist will do so in a courteous and sensitive manner. This position has the opportunity to give standout service that enhances the reputation of AHF and encourages clients to learn their HIV status. Attention to detail is crucial and identifying future partners and referrals. Being able to setup events for testing program and the ability to take direction. Identify target populations in assigned region and increase foot traffic to Mobile Testing Unit free HIV testing as well as the Healthcare Center.
The Retention Specialist can enhance the experience of both internal staff by creating a dynamic relationship to improve flow of testing and linkage. In addition, being able to meet quotas and deliverables in an efficient and timely manner. This is a collaborative role by working with Healthcare Center staff, HIV testers, and community members. In addition, giving feedback to their manager about how we can improve and enhance client experience. The Retention Specialist must be able to present in large or select audiences. Is cultural sensitive and be able to work assigned hours, including evenings and weekends. The Retention Specialist will have a strong social media component and adapt to various situations with ease
