A Transportation Coordinator contributes to AHF by presenting a friendly, helpful face to clients and people seeking non-emergency transportation services. Within their duties of communicating with clients courteously and sensitively, scheduling transportation requests, and assisting with the needs of our clients, this position has the opportunity to give standout service to increase client satisfaction, enhance the reputation of AHF, encourage clients to continue to seek medical/support services from AHF and recommend our services to others.

 

A Transportation Coordinator enhances the reputation of AHF by enhancing the experience of other members of the Healthcare Center staff by lending a helpful hand when needed and thinking of their role as collaborative rather than exclusive. In addition, giving feedback to the manager about how service could be improved will allow the team members to enhance their contribution. The Transportation Coordinator adds consistent value to the Healthcare Center Team by adapting to various situations with ease and by being flexible.

AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders.

 

The Transportation Coordinator will work as a part of a close-knit team to Be responsible for delivering services that ensure the client and internal/external providers have a positive experience and high retention rates while maintaining compliance with quality standards for providing and administering transportation benefits. The Transportation Coordinator supports clients by offering education and advice on eligibility.

 

Licenses and Certifications: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required. 

 

Bilingual:  English/Spanish
