Today, AIDS Outreach Center (AOC) began as a grassroots organization responding to the HIV epidemic. Since that time, AOC has been a leader in North Texas in the fight against HIV. Annually, 42 staff members provide services and education to over 2,000 people living with HIV and prevention services to over 3,500 people in our community.

The phlebotomist should have experience with people from communities of color and the LGBTQ+ population. Since HIV and STD prevention is our work, the tester will conduct testing via finger sticks and blood draws. Se busca hispanohablante.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate compassion for people, commitment to the mission, and value relationships. This role focuses on people of color, gay and bisexual men, transgender and non-binary individuals, and other community members. Some training is available for this position.
