The Junior Accounts Payable Specialist plays an important role in supporting AFH’s Accounts Payable Department, ensuring timely and accurate processing and payment of a high volume of invoices. In this capacity, the Junior Accounts Payable Specialist works directly with AHF departments and external vendors to ensure timely responses to all inquiries and requests. The Junior Accounts Payable Specialist contributes to maintaining strong vendor account relationships.

Consistent application of AHF’s internal financial policies & payment processing procedures and adherence to internal controls in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles. He/ She ascertains that all requisite support documentation and approval is obtained prior to payment.

The Junior Accounts Payable Specialist will possess strong communication and customer service skills; must be able to work with vendors and internal and external customers in a professional manner.
