The Inventory Integrity Specialist contributes to AHF by acting as the subject matter expert on all aspects of pharmaceutical inventory management within all business lines of AHF Pharmacy. This includes departments such as Pharmacy, Health Care Centers, and others. This involves providing administrative oversight through communication of best practices as well as cooperation with various departments with stakes in the ultimate success of maintaining an accurate pharmacy inventory.

The  Inventory Integrity Specialist  enhances the reputation of AHF by ensuring the right drug is located in the right pharmacy at the right time for all of our patients. This is accomplished by understanding and disseminating all required information related to the inventory features of the pharmacy management system as well as utilizing an understanding of the financial reporting structure related to pharmacy inventory. This laser focus will ultimately result in maximizing inventory across the company in a manner that reduces the total amount to only what is absolutely necessary. This will bring cost effectiveness and efficiency to the forefront of the position.

AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders.

The  Inventory Integrity Specialist  will work as a part of a close-knit team to provide administrative oversight of the pharmacy management system’s inventory module such as cycle counts, assigning preferred generics, transferring medication between pharmacies, creating automated/logic-based ordering, monitoring reports, and improving functionality between vendors and pharmacy teams. From a financial perspective, this position will coordinate third party audits, provide reporting on purchase and dispensing usage, and maximize formularies to ensure the best drug spend outcomes.

Licenses and Certifications: Pharmacy Tech Lic required
