The Project Assistant – Latin American Mechanism for Public Health Emergencies contributes to AHF by strengthening the organization’s efforts to advance equitable and effective responses to public health challenges through regional

cooperation. By supporting the development of a strategic initiative aimed at improving preparedness and response to health emergencies in Latin America, this role directly contributes to AHF’s broader mission of expanding access to care and influencing public health systems to better serve vulnerable populations.Through research, analysis, and coordination, the Project Assistant helps translate complex global health concepts into actionable policy-relevant insights, supporting AHF’s commitment to evidence-based advocacy and

innovation. This position plays a key role in facilitating collaboration among diverse stakeholders, ensuring that technical discussions are effectively documented, synthesized, and advanced toward concrete outcomes that can mobilize political will and drive systemic change.

 

The Project Assistant – Latin American Mechanism for Public Health Emergencies enhances the reputation of AHF by contributing to high-quality analytical outputs, well-coordinated stakeholder engagement, and the timely delivery of strategic documents that position AHF as a thought leader in global and regional health governance.
