In addition to other responsibilities, this position will have the opportunity to:

  • Supervision of department staff including Clinical Supervision of therapists
  • Participating in, developing and implementing program services in order to meet stakeholder needs
  • Formulating, reviewing and revising policies and procedures to ensure best practice
  • Evaluating and addressing client/resident concerns and needs
  • Coordinates and maintains compliance to accreditation standards, documentation and records as required by regulatory agencies.

  • Maintaining appropriate staffing patterns with qualified personnel through hiring, supervision and training.
  • Fiscal monitoring and analysis of programmatic and department budgets
  • Tracking, reporting and analyzing statistical data regarding program performance.
  • Developing and maintaining linkages with collaborating community agencies and businesses
  • Address client grievances and agency incident with written responses including licensing and funding documentation, as appropriate.
  • Working Collaboratively with the Director of Residential Services  

 

Skills/ Requirements

  • Licensed by The Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy or Mental Health Counseling
  • Qualified Supervisor
  • Knowledge of DCF Licensing and accreditation standards
  • Master’s degree Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or Marriage and Family Counseling with a Florida State License as LCSW, LMHC or LMFT
  • Knowledge of DCF Licensing and accreditation standards
  • Five years’ experience in Human Service services, Co-Occurring Treatment and Residential experience preferred   

  • Three years of supervisory and program management experience
  • Two Years Post Licensure with Qualified Supervisor Certificate
  • Advanced knowledge of Substance Abuse assessment and intervention
  • Moderate to advanced computer skills required: Microsoft Office, Multiple Databases, Scheduling Programs
  • Basic math skills required: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction
  • Basic office equipment operation skills
  • Must be physically and mentally fit to respond to emergency situations.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION

  • Florida State License as LCSW, LMHC or LMFT or RN
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License and ongoing proof of insurance
  • AHCA Level II background screening
  • HIV 500
