YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO OUR SUCCESS!

  1. Maintains clinical competency, as demonstrated in providing and directing patient care.
  2. Assists and communicates with medical staff concerning patient care issues (e.g., change in condition, refill requests, patient incidents).
  3. Assesses and Triages patients.
  4. Participates in the case management of individual patients to ensure the continuity of care.
  5. Maintains compliance with Nursing Council of Swaziland , and other regulatory agencies, statutes and standards.
  6. Conducts nursing care in a manner reflective of the philosophy of AIDS Healthcare Foundation.
  7. Provides education to patient and patient's personal support system in areas such as disease management, safe sex, etc.
  8. Complies with safety standards and infection control standards.
  9. Promotes teamwork, good interpersonal relations and communication among staff at the healthcare setting.
  10. Participates in nursing staff orientation and serves as a clinical resource.
  11. Exercises appropriate judgment and good decision-making skills.
  12. Assumes additional responsibilities as necessary (i.e., assisting the medical staff at times of critical need, attendance at all assigned committees).
