 Scope of work

 

              The scope of work falls into four strategic directions

 

  • Engage influential individuals involved in the government policy formulation and implementation of HIV/AIDS policies
  • Represent India Cares initiatives in the media, both in India and Globally as requested
  • Attend and participate in India Cares advocacy events
  • Engage influential individuals in India Cares advocacy initiatives
  • Contribute as a part of Policy Advisory Committee for Woman and Girl Child Initiatives and engage other influential individuals in coordination with India Cares team
  • Help build new partnerships with Community organisations

 

 

 Deliverables and Due Dates

 

  1. Create a woman friendly policy and engage youth for advocacy and media activities – Apr – Sep 2016
  2. Participate in 20X20 activities and WAD campaign and engage influential people – Dec 2016
  3. Coordinate with media, politicians and senior officials to include India Cares Advocacy agenda in the policy at National level – Sep 2016
  4. Participate and support advocacy events in India and abroad as needed
  5. Involve India Cares in TRG meetings as appropriate
  6. Participate in media interviews and activities
  7. Participate in Advocacy meetings and activities
  8. Help build India Cares branding, identity, and influence in India and globally
  9. Participate in community events and represent India Cares Dec 2016
  10. Focus on HIV/AIDS as a human rights issue Dec 2016
  11. Build a strong youth voice for prevention, early testing and adherence to treatment Dec 2016
  12. Coordinate with NACO to embed India areas vision and policies in the National Strategy – Apr 2016-
