TThe scope of work falls into four strategic directions

  • Engage influential individuals involved in the government policy formulation and implementation of HIV/AIDS policies
  • Represent AHF and India Cares initiatives in the media, both in India and Globally as requested
  • Attend and participate in Impulse events and other India Cares events
  • Engage influential individuals in India Cares advocacy initiatives
  • Contribute as a part of Policy Advisory Advisory Committee and engage other influential individuals in coordination with India Cares team
  • Help build new partnerships with Government and International Organizations.


  • Participate in 20X20 activities and WAD campaign and engage influential people – Dec 2016
  • Participate and engage at least five influential individuals for a Policy Advisory Committee – Sep 2016
  • Coordinate with influential individuals, parliamentarians, media, politicians and senior officials to include India Cares Advocacy agenda in the policy at National level – Sep 2016
  • Coordinate with influential individuals and parliamentarians to raise questions related to National AIDS Response gaps/issues/challenges identified by AHF India Cares and the Policy Advisory Committee in various forums including media interviews and parliament sessions
  • Participate in media interviews and profiles
  • Fully participate in AHF activities around International Condom Day and World AIDS Day.
  • Participate and support advocacy events in India and abroad as needed
  • Involve India Cares in TRG meetings as appropriate
  • Participate in media interviews and activities
  • Participate in Impulse Board meetings and activities
  • Help build India Cares branding, identity, and influence in India and globally
  • Participate in community events and represent AHF and India Cares
