Responsibilities

  • Prepares information for statistical reports and ensures reports are submitted timely to all relevant partners. Reports expected delays to Medical director/ Doctor in charge.
  • Prepare budget for the Program activities lined up and ensure timely execution of the budget allocated to it.
  • To work in collaboration with the Medical Director to further develop the Rapid Testing Program strategy and ensure effective implementation in line with the budget and the effective capacity building of the program staff.
  • Ensure appropriate coordination and effective liaisons with all stakeholders involved in the Program and appropriately collaborate and work in partnership with and thereafter ensure good partner relations.
  • Prepares implementation and work plan for RTI and condom distribution
  • Participates in proposal writing for RTI and condom distribution
  • Forge working relations with partners and stakeholders to promote testing initiative and condom distribution.
  • Plan, organize and coordinate all events associated with the Program including the mass testing events and condom campaign
  • Analyse the project progress and recommend innovative strategies
  • Contributes in the marketing and branding of the AHF mass testing initiative
  • Facilitates community mobilization for the Rapid Testing Initiative
  • Create and formulate networks or linkages, tracking tools and protocols for streamlining HIV positive patients to treatment and care points
  •  Liaise with other testing partners and ART clinics for the referral of patients
  • Contributes to academic research related to Mass Testing Model
  • Maintains an annual calendar of clinic and campaign activities, blocks out time for holidays, annual leave, meetings,etc.
  • Manage and Supervise all Rapid Testing Initiative (RTI) and condom distribution staff.
  • Carries out supervisory duties in accordance with the organisations applicable laws and disciplinary procedures. responsibilities include interviewing hiring, training employees ,planning assigning and directing work ,appraising performances ,rewarding and disciplining employees addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Attending to clients grievances and complaints 
  • Arrange cover for staff in the event of an absent staff member ensuring that any urgent work due by missing staff member is completed
  • Be familiar with admin, HR and relevant finance Policy and Procedures
  • Assist the finance manager as required
  • Assist in the planning and organising of all the clinic functions parties, campaigns and meetings
  • Participate in all RTI and Condom distribution meetings and take minutes for the meetings. These meetings include,  stake holders meetings and executive meetings
  • Prepare information for statistical MTI and Condom campaign statistical reports and ensure the reports are submitted to timely
  • Act as a personal assistant to the Medical Director as required in the Condom and Mass testing campaign meetings   
  • Assist the Finance manager as requested by ensuring that all the purchasing done is done in accordance with AHFs policies and procedures. This includes ensuring that 3 quotes are received for all major purchases and maintenance work in accordance with AHFs policies and procedures

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A) from four year old college or university in Health related field or social science, HIV knowledge and one or two years related experience or training in project management essential.
  • Report writing, preparation of documents and proposal writing skills required.
  • A well-organized, self –motivated individual that is able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Language Skills

  • Ability to read, speak and write both English and SiSwati.
