Duties:

Manage critical, cross-functional financial systems’ IT processes and projects.  Manage projects aimed at attaining additional revenue and operation efficiencies for the company, as well as enhancing the overall customer experience.  Work closely with stakeholders to evaluate how AHF is currently leveraging systems, including SAP, Salesforce, Success Factors, Esker, Concur, and ADP. Support AHF initiatives and connect processes and systems to new innovative technologies to establish additional operational efficiencies.  Serve as a liaison between Finance, Materials Management, Human Resources, and Information Technology to implement new requests.  Recommend creative solutions that provide value to the overall effectiveness of the financial controlling systems by closing gaps via process re-design or system functionality enhancements. Perform quality assurance tests on existing systems. Develop and lead the testing, validation, and evaluation of proposed changes to financial systems. Lead issue resolution and troubleshooting efforts concerning database modifications and related reporting from various financial systems. Maintain key financial systems data elements to ensure that AHF’s policies are followed in regard to adding/deleting, entities, hierarchies, and the chart of accounts.  Control security access to the financial systems’ database.  Work as a key member of the finance/accounting team to help drive process improvement.  Work closely with end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.  Automate production of the most commonly used financial reports.  Prepare and maintain documentation of system processes, functionality, reports, and training materials for departmental staff on the financial systems.  Identify training and development needs of the end user teams.  Keep abreast of current developments and trends in information technology and financial systems.  Provide ongoing system support, administration, maintenance, and upgrades on the financial system. Work closely with end users and other IS departmental personnel on system related projects. Manage the implementation of system enhancements and resolution of user related system problems.

 

Requirements:

Seven (7) years of SAP project management, financial systems management, or related experience, working with SAP ERP Financials; implementing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Grants Management, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger; performing conversion of master data and transaction data; managing data integration; building test cases and performing unit and integration testing; and working with Esker, Success Factor, ADP, and Concur technologies.
