  • Collect weekly statistics HTS and ART from the respective site for PPR reports.
  • Enter all weekly and quarterly PPR data into AHF PPR web portal.
  • Actively participates in preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly program data reports and ensures timely submission of requested data to all key stakeholders.
  • Regularly monitors and maintains privacy of all data/information collected and entered into all computers.
  • Ensures that all data/information is backed up on a regular basis (daily/weekly/ monthly) basis to ensure safety of data.
  • Assist MOHCC MIS personnel in troubleshooting and management of computer systems including EMR system at the facility.
  • Takes part in training of healthcare workers in data collection, management and utilization
  • Actively participate in operational and scientific research activities especially data collection tool development, data collection, cleaning and analysis.
  • Develops an operation work plan and budget for data management activities in line with reporting requirements
  • Assist in tracking HIV positive clients into care and treatment programme and help generate reports that highlight this area.
  • Provide assistance in ensuring validity and reliability in processing all data/ information reported on weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
  • At facilities with Patient Chart Records, assist in ensuring there is an efficient patient record management system e.g. assist Assists with clinic’s filing when required.
  • Ensures that the number of charts entered into database correlates with number of clients recorded in daily register at reception.
  • Performs administrative tasks related to data entry (e.g. filing and retrieval of relevant information)

Perform any other duties as assigned


  • The applicant should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field from a recognized university.
  • At least two years’ experience in data management and analysis in a busy health care setting
  • Previous exposure and experience working with healthcare delivery systems such as ePOC, DHIS 2
  • Flexible, proactive and able to organize work independently as well as work in a team
