Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Under general supervision of the Associate Chief Information Officer, this individual plays a lead role with data and information architecture, management, reporting, interpretation, analysis, and presentations, in support of various performance improvement efforts.


  • Work closely with executive management and stakeholders to understand and define data and reporting requirements while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction by establishing interpersonal relationships, understanding the business needs, staying aligned with business objectives, delivering on commitments and establishing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Ability to learn and maintain indebt knowledge of AHF’s diverse business and services
  • Create and manage cross-team relationships and processes in order to accomplish organizational goals
  • Detail-oriented and providing technical solutions to meet business needs
  • Manage and lead members of Managed Care data team while monitoring timely submission of contractual/regulatory reporting for Medicare and Medicaid Managed Care contracts
  • Function as primary contact for Medicare and Medicaid data reporting and analytic requirements
  • Work with management, consultants, IT staff, and other AHF employees to analyze, architect, develop and implement Medicare and Medicaid data and reporting delivery solutions.
  • Strong knowledge, experience, and skills in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as SQL Server, SSRS, writing complex queries, User Defined Functions and Stored Procedures
  • Expertise in SQL development and best practices
  • Serve as a thought leader with indebt knowledge data and information architecture, data modeling, reporting and architectural best practices while meeting business needs
  • Manage design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of reporting infrastructure utilizing SSRS as well as ad-hoc solutions as requested by various business stakeholders.
  • Direct in-depth analysis of Managed Care data and information delivery needs to ensure that reports are generated accurately in timely manner for review, analysis and subsequent submission to customers
  • Oversee and pursue ways to improve end-to-end ETL process of internal and external data from partners, data cleansing, data analysis, data quality, data conversion and reporting for Medicare and Medicaid partners to ensure consistency across the organization
  • Demonstrates knowledge and experience in importing/exporting data in different formats to/from SQL Server databases. Proficient in data manipulation, data extraction, merging of large, complex data from various sources
  • Participate in Managed Care audits including supervising data extractions and validating selection coding.
  • Collaborate with Internal and External customers to define and document the scope and functional requirements for data and reporting needs.
