A Healthcare Center Nurse Manager contributes to AHF's mission through their leadership role in the healthcare centers. Within their duties of providing and directing patient care, the Nurse Manager helps to ensure the healthcare center’s staff remains clinically competent and delivers the highest quality of care to our patients. By educating patients on modes of transmission, safer sex practices, and disease management contributes to lessening the spread of sexually transmitted infections. In addition, the Nurse Manager participates in the case management of individual patients to ensure the continuity of care.
Complying with safety standards and infection control standards the Nurse Manager can assure that both AHF employees and AHF patients are safe and receiving the best care.
The Nurse Manager can enhance the experience of other healthcare center employees by being friendly, promoting teamwork and creating clear lines of communication with staff both at the healthcare setting and corporate level. In addition, Nurse Manager also participates in outreach efforts which strengthens AHF’s relationship with the community we serve.
