AIDS Healthcare Foundation is seeking an Events Coordinator to work on a regular, full time basis. This great opportunity is to join our Marketing Department located in the city of Los Angeles, California. An Events Coordinator contributes to AHF's mission by working with the Events Team and other key marketing/ communications and/or global managers to coordinate, manage, and execute the on-site activations of media campaigns, special events and grass roots activities that convey a well-articulated portrayal of AHF. Within a portion of their duties of management and execution of onsite activations, the Events Coordinator works closely with internal departments, including: marketing, communications, media, expansion, advocacy and all business lines of AHF. Traveling to various regions across the nation as needed to execute the strategy and on site logistics for various planned AHF expansions and activations will strengthen relationships with AHF internal and external teams.
The Events Coordinator will assist the team by performing research and conceptualizing ideas for event activations. In this role, the Events Coordinator will also lead supervise and manage hired part time events outreach workers at various events and campaigns with the highest level of professionalism.
The Marketing team will be enhanced by the Event Coordinator’s innovation to develop, design and implement creative concepts, and create and provide management with recap reports on executed events. This role will also help team members by providing administrative support including, but not limited to securing activation permits, sponsorship proposals, and maintaining databases.
