YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO OUR SUCCESS!

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement educational programs to provide HIV education and risk reduction interventions to African American MSM;
  • Coordinate the outreach work of the four Social Network Educators among African-American MSM, including the provision of training and professional development, ensuring programmatic accountability, and effectiveness of outreach efforts;
  • Support and collaborate on HIV programming based out of the Beyond Identities Community Center (BICC) – ATGC’s drop-in center for LGBTQ youth of color;
  • Develop and foster relationships and collaborative efforts between the ATGC and organizations and institutions in the African-American community;
  • Work in tandem with the Education Department staff team to develop and implement Taskforce educational programs;
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and supervision of volunteers for other Taskforce programs;
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and other activity reports, and assists in evaluation efforts;
  • Represent the Taskforce at meetings and conferences.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
