A Dental Assistant contributes to AHF's mission by presenting a friendly and helpful face to patients. Under the direction of the Dental Director at AHF, the Dental Assistant provides assistance to the Dental staff.
As a Dental Assistant, their responsibilities include: assisting the Dentists’ with sterilization, setup of operatory’s, front office management, back office duties, billing and dental chart maintenance. The Dental Assistant acts as a patient advocate and performs those duties necessary to treat the patient as reflected in the mission of AHF.
The Dental Assistant can enhance the experience of other members of the Broward Dental staff, by lending a helpful hand when needed, and thinking of their role as collaborative, rather than exclusive. In addition, giving feedback to their manager about how service could be improved will allow the team members to enhance their contribution.
The Dental Assistant adds consistent value to the Broward Dental Team by adapting to various situations with ease and by being flexible.
