    Primary Function:

    • Assist in HIV programs areas relative to and in conjunction with the National HIV Prevention Program Monitory and Evaluation (NHM&E) Training Website on using the data contained in EvaluationWeb to input data and in the IDPH PROVIDE data systems. Provide clerical and administrative support to the Executive Director and staff.


    Description of Duties:

    • Assist Project Director in completing reports, collect and enter data;
    • Collect demographics and identification from the client primary;
    • Input Client Evaluations
    • Input Client files
    • Maintain the Highest level of Client Confidentiality
    • Assists prevention staff in providing participant referrals and follow-up for additional service needs as necessary
    • Participants in Team development meetings as assigned
    • Answer telephone and route incoming calls in accordance with agency policy
    • Greet clients and visitors and direct them as required
    • Assist in ordering supplies, maintain filing system, assist in the preparation and submission of grant applications and other fund-raising activities
    • Other duties as assigned
    • Ability to interact well with co-workers and superiors and function as a team member to complete tasks


    Minimum Qualifications:

    Data Manager must possess some degree of indigenous knowledge and the ability to track, collect, tabulate, analyze, and summarize data into quality reports. 


    Candidate must be willing to participate in all trainings. Individual should be professional and effective as a source of motivation and encouragement for program participants.


    Administrative Support must have the ability to compose letters using word processing, the ability to type 40 wpm, a good working knowledge of English, grammar, punctuation, spelling, shorthand or speed writing helpful.  Must have a pleasant demeanor and professional appearance, the ability to promptly carry out all work assignments, including detail oriented tasks and must be prompt with good attendance.




    • High school diploma or equivalent desired
    • Prior experience in an office setting preferred.
    • Experience or training in HIV/AIDs
    • Certification in HIV Testing and Counseling with demonstrated experience providing individual risk-reduction counseling.
    • Must be computer literate. Strong written and verbal communication skills required.  Valid State of Illinois driver’s license, Clear driving record and insured motor vehicle.
