A PDM clerk contributes to AHF's mission by managing Medical Provider information in AHF’s HEALTHsuite database. By entering, auditing and updating Provider information correctly, the impact to: claims processing; producing accurate Provider directories; government reporting; and internal department reporting for Finance, Provider Relations, Etc. will be immensely impacted in a positive manner.
Accurate and efficient data entry skills, proficient in Excel, must be able to type 50 words per minute, and demonstrating the ability to exercise critical thinking skills are essential to the position to maximize claim payments and financial reporting.
The PDM clerk can enhance the department, and managed care, experience by offering feedback to team members and management which will improve the PDM departments’ efficiency in maintaining HEALTHsuite.
The PDM clerk will be required to manage multiple projects—while meeting deadlines—and be adaptable in shifting from different requests at a moment’s notice, ensure that accurate data is delivered in a timely fashion and professional and pleasant whenever communicating with internal or external clients.
