As a member of the national nursing management team, the Regional Training Nurse is responsible for integrating and projecting AHF’s mission and core values of the organization. Within the duties, the Regional Training Nurse is responsible for traveling to assigned Healthcare Centers to conduct onboarding and orientation and provide ongoing education and training. The Regional Training Nurse develops, implements and continually assesses evidence-based training programs, competency based clinical assessments and Electronic Medical Record training programs. Additionally, they are responsible for the assessment of Healthcare Center and staff performance, counseling and coaching staff and collaboration with senior nursing management. The Regional Training Nurse assists in the development of policies and procedures and their implementation into the Healthcare Center environment through training and education. They assist with the monitoring of quality in the HCCs and participate in the oversight of care gap analysis and closure.
AHF values a nursing environment that is collaborative and education is promoted and achieved. By being a team player, through good interpersonal relations and communication with staff, the Regional Training Nurse will help enhance patient care and clinical practice. Collaboration with nurse managers and senior nursing staff to implement strategic measures will result in higher functioning Healthcare Centers.
The Regional Training Nurse adds consistent value to the national nursing team by providing ongoing education to the back office teams in their assigned region’s healthcare centers, to ensure clinical competence and an excellent patient experience.
